In our ongoing series of technology-related “news you can use,” below is the latest Ease information from our Account Management Tech Team.
 
Ease Updates
 
  • Admin Access Limit by Location: We can now limit company admin access to employees in groups based on location. Log in for instructions here.
  • FSA Only Non-QLE Changes: Ease agency users can update Flexible Spending Account (FSA) plans in Ease to allow enrolled employees to make changes to FSA contributions without adding a Qualifying Life Event (QLE). Log in here for instructions.  
  • Q3 Rates: Rates and benefits for the third quarter are loaded in Ease for Small Group carriers in California and Nevada. Be sure you send your Q3 groups to us, so we can make sure your groups are ready for Open Enrollment.
 Intake forms are required for new and renewing groups; access the current form here.
 
Ease Quick Tip

When terminating coverage for an employee, follow these steps:
  • Log in and click on the group
  • Click on “Employee > Employment > Status > Terminated”
  • Enter “Termination Type > Terminated”
  • Enter date of “Change (termination) > Reason > Next”
  • Display will show plan that will be terminated and the end date
  • Click “Save”
  • Termination forms are not completed in Ease; please ask for a Termination form from the group to submit to the carrier
