Tech Team Updates for April 2025

The April Tech Team Updates offer more news you can use concerning Ease and its transition to Employee Navigator (EN), which continues throughout 2025.
 
Intake Form: Get the latest Ease Setup Request form instructions in Word & Brown’s Insurance Forms Library. You will also find EN Setup Instructions.

Upcoming Software Enhancements

Agency Management System (AMS) Integrations: Infrastructure to host Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to support AMS and enhanced quoting integrations is complete. We are finalizing testing with select partners; a general release is expected in mid-Q2. AMS providers interested in integrating should begin the contracting process now.
 
Syncing of Classes for Payroll Integration: Beta testing for syncing EN classes with payroll classes as part of payroll integrations is progressing well. We expect the general release with ADP to occur within the next two months. Following this, other payroll systems will have the opportunity to upgrade their integrations.
 
Additional Software Updates: A new setting is available that allows users with the Team Admin permission to manage other users with the same location.
 
EN Acquisition of Ease: Watch for monthly updates from Emily Crognale, Vice President of Client Experience, concerning the ongoing transition from Ease to EN for W&B brokers.

Plan History Reports in Ease
 
Plan history reports are a great way to troubleshoot and determine what changes have been made to a particular plan.
  • Go to the group’s Benefits tab and select the Plans subtab.
  • Select the plans in question.
  • Click the green Reports tab right above the plan listing.
  • Click Plan History Report to generate.
  • Go to Reports at the top of the page to retrieve your plan history report.
