The May Tech Team Updates offer more news you can use concerning Ease and its transition to Employee Navigator (EN), which is continuing throughout 2025.
 
Intake Form: Get the latest Ease Setup Request form instructions in Word & Brown’s Insurance Forms Library. You will also find EN Setup Instructions.
 
Upcoming Software Enhancements
 
Pay Frequency Updates: Nearly two dozen new pay frequency options have been added to Employee Navigator. To view these pay frequencies, go to Settings > Payroll Group > Add Payroll Group > Pay Frequency.
 
Preserve Hire Date: This option protects the employee’s existing EN hire date from Payroll updates. To access, go to the employee’s Profile > Employment > Payroll Integrations > Preserve Hire Date.
 
Redesigned Life Event Employee Experience: A new enhancement improves guidance throughout the enrollment flow. To learn more, check out this video.
 
EN Acquisition of Ease: Watch your email for continuing updates from Emily Crognale, Vice President of Client Experience, concerning the ongoing transition from Ease to EN for W&B brokers.

Add a Company in EN
 
There are three ways to add a company to your brokerage: Add a Company; Add from Library, or Add from Existing:

• Add a Company: You can add a group from scratch or from a rate library.
• Add from Library: You can create plan libraries and when you add a new group, those plans can be pulled over.
• Add from Existing: Use this if you have an existing company you would like to mirror
