Anthem Blue Cross is offering Small Group brokers in California the opportunity to earn a commission incentive on new groups with five or more enrolled employees.
 
For new groups with a September 2022 effective date, you can earn 7% commission for the life of the case.
 
New Small Groups of up to 100 employees are eligible for September 1 and September 15 effective dates. New Medical contracts on existing groups are not eligible.
 
New employees are those who have the same enrollment effective date as the employer group’s original Anthem effective date.
 
Commission percentage is based on the number of enrolled employees with Anthem Medical plans. Incentive program offers seven percent flat, up to $1 million in annualized premium, then 0.8% above $1 million. Applicable only to Affordable Care Act (ACA) plans; does not include Anthem Balanced Funding sales.
 
Changes in a group’s Agent of Record will reset the commission to standard rates.
