White House Announces New Deals With Drug Companies and Insurers for Discounted Rx Prices in 2026

The new direct-to-consumer website announced by President Donald Trump in late September is continuing to rack up new deals with pharmaceutical companies and insurers.
TrumpRx, expected to formally launch in early 2026, will allow individuals to connect with drug companies to purchase prescription medications at a discount price rather than through health insurance. The site is part of a broader Trump administration effort to apply a “most favored nation” (MFN) pricing model, so that U.S. residents pay no more than the lowest prices offered in Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, and the United Kingdom – cutting third-party markups.
In his first TrumpRx deal, the president announced an agreement with Pfizer to reduce the price of multiple drugs including Eucris (an ointment for Eczema), Duavee (a postmenopausal drug), Zavzpret (a migraine medication), and Xeljanz (used to treat severe rheumatoid arthritis).
Another deal, announced in early November
Not to be outdone, two insurance companies have announced a plan to offer discounted infertility medications through TrumpRx in 2026. Cigna’s Evernorth pharmacies, Freedom Fertility and VFP Pharmacy Group, will offer three medications online through the new federal website.
CVS Health will offer access to Gonal-f, a medication used to treat infertility in both men and women, through its CVS specialty pharmacy and 9,000 retail locations.
More drug manufacturers and insurers are expected to join the program before its formal launch.
