Meet the team

Cindy West is Regional Vice President for Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, and Kern counties, as well as Nevada.

As a 25 plus year veteran in the insurance industry, Cindy West has experience working in many facets of the business. She began her career working for Blue Cross of California (now Anthem). Her knowledge and drive gained her success over the course of her years earning the position of the Lead Regional Sales manager. She was a top performer earning recognition as their top Regional and National Sales Manager for several years.

Cindy was recruited and decided to leave her career at Anthem in 2012 and become a Regional Sales Director for a startup insurance carrier. This move allowed her to learn the business from a completely new and unique perspective. As their Regional Sales Director, she accomplished a 200% growth in business from her trusted relationships – and provided a new perspective on how to build a sales brand within the broker community. Once this opportunity came to a close, she was recruited to work as the Field Sales Director for Word & Brown’s LA office in November 2014. She has and continues to drive trusted relationships to Word and Brown to grow the Los Angeles and Nevada Regions. Cindy is active with the Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, and Ventura County chapters of the California Association of Health Insurance Professionals (CAHIP).
