In his broker development role at Word & Brown, Jim Pippins leads efforts to nurture and empower our expanding network of brokers and agents, fostering their growth and enhancing their skills. He manages the development of comprehensive training and educational resources to ensure a complete understanding by producers of what it takes to be successful in the competitive employee benefits marketplace.
Jim facilitates our mentorship programs to connect brokers with knowledgeable staff, discussing our value proposition and ensuring progression on the right growth track. He also works with leaders across the organization to further innovation and encourage adoption of pioneering approaches to leverage technology and streamline process improvements to benefit brokers and their clients.
Jim first joined Word & Brown as a service representative in 2006. He has held a variety of critical roles at Word & Brown during his 15+ years of service. His time in the Northern California has resulted in tremendous growth across the region and made many positive differences. He has been instrumental in providing leadership, refining processes, and driving revenue growth – all while leading the company in case count during multiple years.
